What's your favorite part of your job?
Meeting and making connections with students and seeing them take valuable information with them.
What's the best class you've ever taken?
Applied psychology-teacher was great and we were actually able to apply all the concepts we learned to everyday life.
About me (likes & hobbies):
When I’m not consumed with graduate school, work or internship, I’ll make time to catch a Warriors games with some friends at a local spot, or go on a night walk exploring this 7 by 7 city. Always have the travel bug and am planning my next trip. Peru and Europe being some of my favorite destinations so far. Always down to have a deep conversation about life, which most likely is the counselor/existential side of me. Love keeping life interesting!
What excites you about helping students graduate from SF State?
Graduation is a very momentous time in a student’s life. Everyone’s taken a different path to get there, and overcome the challenges and obstacles that life and school throw at every student. It’s exciting being there for students and helping them reach the next chapter in their life.
What advice do you have for SF State Gators?
Classes and school are important, but also try to take a step back to breathe and enjoy life. You’re only young once!
