M.Ed. Student Affairs, UCLA

My goal is to provide a comfortable environment in which students’ feel supported & encouraged to pursue their interests while introducing them to tools and resources that can help them make informed decisions.

I always knew I would end up in education but I wasn’t quite sure in what capacity. I worked in the undergraduate advising center as a student and realized that advising and working with college students was a career path.

There are so many incredible people & opportunities at SF State. I love learning about students’ passions & interests and connecting them with opportunities on campus.

Building relationships with students and watching them grow & progress toward their academic & personal goals.

Intergroup Dialogue Facilitation. It was a mix of graduate and undergraduate students from various departments and walks of life. I use the lessons & skills gained from that course on a daily basis both in my professional and personal life.

I was an announcer at Little League games.

College is fun & exciting but it can also be challenging. Take advantage of all the opportunities & remember there is a network of people & resources here to help you!

I am a huge sports fan. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures and enjoy learning random fun facts.
