I prefer to help students through a holistic approach. I try my best to understand their desires (work, academic, social) and see if we can get to a solution. I tend to push my students to critically think about their success.

I had an amazing faculty advising team, Dr. Bolter and Dr. Veri. They really helped cultivate my passion and helped my find what I wanted to pursue.

I really enjoy seeing students who are excited, prepared, and have a desire to further enrich their life through higher education.

My work family/team. I think we have a great team at HSS. Each one of us has something that makes us special and makes the HSS team better everyday.

I took an upper division English literature class that dealt with anti-heroes. The professor was amazing and the material was so interesting. I also took a research methods class that let me present on figure skating which was super fun.

I was a paid DM (Dungeon Master) for a role-playing game called Dungeons and Dragons.

I have a bad habit of binge-watching TV shows or re-watching classic romantic comedies. I enjoy riding my bike (fitness) and listening to podcasts (true crime or video game reviews). I really enjoy doing make-up and playing video games. Also, I love music. My favorite genres are: pop, r&b, hip-hop, rap, jazz, classical. Finally, most importantly, my absolute favorite color is pink. I tend to gush over anything that’s pink.
